The journal aims primarily to promote, disseminate and deepen understanding of how neuroscientific findings can inform and transform contemporary educational practices.

NPRJ stands as an interdisciplinary forum that brings together researchers, educators, pedagogues, psychologists, neuroscientists and professionals from related disciplines to share their knowledge, experiences and latest findings. The journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, case studies, theoretical dissertations and literature reviews that explore the application of neuroscientific principles in diverse educational contexts.

The thematic scope of NPRJ encompasses, but is not limited to, neuropedagogical bases of learning and memory, neuroscience applied to education, brain development and its relationship to educational processes, neuroeducation-based educational interventions, neurodidactics and neuroscience-informed teaching strategies, individual differences in learning from a neuroscientific perspective, neuroeducation and attention to diversity, implications of neuroscience for inclusive education, applications of neuropedagogy in early education and child development, and neuroscience and innovative educational technologies, as well as neuropedagogy and its relationship to neuromethodology (teaching and research) and neuroimaging.

NPRJ adheres to the highest standards of quality and scientific rigor in its publications. All manuscripts submitted for consideration undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the validity, originality and relevance of the content presented.

NPRJ's target audience includes researchers, teachers, teacher educators, educational policy makers, educationalists and school psychologists, and anyone interested in the application of neuroscientific advances to optimize teaching and learning processes. The journal strives to present up-to-date and relevant information in an accessible and applicable manner, fostering an ongoing dialogue between research and educational practice.

NPRJ is published biannually in digital format, ensuring wide dissemination and accessibility to its contents.

In short, NPRJ is positioned as a reliable and cutting-edge source for the latest research, ideas and practical applications in the fascinating field of neuropedagogy. The journal invites the scientific and educational community to join its commitment to unravel the mysteries of the brain and transform education through the power of neuropedagogy.

APPROACH AND SCOPE.

1.-OBJECTIVES.

General objective:

To be a leading, interdisciplinary platform that promotes research, debate and innovative application of neuropedagogy, integrating findings from neuroscience, pedagogy, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. To foster the development of learner-centered approaches, supported by neuroscientific evidence, to improve quality and inclusion in education globally, while promoting ethics, cross-cultural collaboration and responsible advancement in this evolving field.

Specific objectives

1. Promote the integration of artificial intelligence, neuroimaging and other emerging technologies in the field of neuropedagogy, exploring their potential to optimize teaching and learning processes.

To serve as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among educators, researchers and practitioners from different countries and cultures, fostering a global understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the application of neuropedagogy.

3. To promote the development and validation of innovative tools, techniques and methodologies based on neuropedagogy, with a focus on inclusive education, personalized learning and attention to diversity.

4. To promote transdisciplinary research that combines neuropedagogy with other areas such as educational psychology, cognitive sciences, neuropsychology and pedagogy, with the aim of generating comprehensive solutions to current educational challenges.

5. Promote ethics and responsibility in the application of neuropedagogy, addressing issues such as data privacy, protection of research participants and responsible use of emerging technologies in education.

2.-SCOPE AND THEMATIC COVERAGE.

The NPRJ is an interdisciplinary and peer-reviewed journal that aims to advance our understanding of the intersection between neuroscience, pedagogy, and emerging technologies in education. The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and theoretical contributions that explore various aspects of neuropedagogy and its applications in diverse educational settings.

The NPRJ welcomes contributions from researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners worldwide, fostering a global dialogue on the potential of neuropedagogy to transform education and equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed for the 21st century.

3.-PUBLIC TO WHICH IT IS ADDRESSED.

The NPRJ journal is aimed primarily at a diverse audience of academics, researchers, educators, policy makers, educational technology developers, and practitioners involved in the integration of neuroscience, pedagogy, and technologies.

4.-PEER REVIEW PROCESS.

The review process of an article begins first with a review of the formal aspects and adequacy to the standards of the journal. This process will be carried out by the Editorial Team. Secondly, once the formal aspects and adequacy to the guidelines of the journal have been overcome, the external review is carried out by two evaluators (double blind) appointed by the Editorial Team and external to the journal, and once the response of the evaluators has been received, the Editorial Team will make the final decision on the publication of the article. If the evaluation is positive, the article will be published; if the evaluation is negative, it will be rejected; the review response time is two to four months.  Receipt of an article does not imply any commitment by the journal for its publication. Submission of articles is free of charge.

5.-OPEN ACCESS POLICY.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps to increase global knowledge exchange.

6.-SECTION POLICIES.

This journal publishes high-level articles that are the product of national and international research and that update the reader on issues and debates that are part of the concerns in the field of neuropedagogy, divided into the following sections:
-Introduction: This section is written by members of the editorial board or thematic section editors, which means that it is not open to receive nominations for contributions and is not ruled on. The section is intended to highlight the main research trends in the field of neuropedagogy and that are published in the issue presented, or, alternatively, emphasizing the section's theme.
-Article: original findings or results of research projects that evidence a theoretical position, clear methodology, results, discussion and conclusions.
